Hi Everyone,

My name is Boomer AKA Super Boomer.  That is what my dad calls me.  I am a 7 year old Golden Retriever male who loves life and is about to become a tripawd on Feb. 2nd 2012.  Dad thinks it is going to be the end of my career as a Super Boomer but I say NO WAY!  I still plan on going camping, eating steak (when Mom doesn’t come along ’cause it is her steak that I am eating…shh don’t tell her) and chilling with the family on the couch and taking my part of Mom and Dad’s bed out of the middle if I can get away with it. 

I have started a blog about my journey from 4 to 3 legs.  It doesn’t bother me that my back left leg is about to be amputated at the hip.  Having cancer doesn’t bother me either because I don’t know what it is so it can’t hurt me.  What does bother me is my family seems sad about it.
